Spongebob Mascot Costume
Buccaneer (baseball mascot) - The Buccaneer was a secondary mascot used by the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball club during their 1995 season. While the team's primary mascot, the Pirate Parrot, wore an elaborate costume with a prosthetic head and molded frame, the Buccaneer was simply a man in pirate's garb who led the crowd in organized cheers.
Benny Beaver - Benny Beaver is the official mascot of Oregon State University. Originally adopted and appeared in print in 1945, he first appeared in costume on September 18, 1952.
Handsome Dan - Handsome Dan is the mascot of Yale University's athletic teams, a bulldog. In addition to a person wearing a costume, the position is filled by an actual bulldog, the honor being transferred to another upon death or retirement.
Living wage chicken - The Living Wage Chicken is the mascot of the Living Wage Movement at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The "chicken" (a person in a chicken costume) appears at various United Campus Workers and Progressive Student Alliance rallies, hoping to garner support for higher wages for UT employees.
